Strong gusts up to 50 mph leave many Rochester, Barrington homes in the dark

ROCHESTER - A powerful wind storm passing through the Northern Seacoast has left 460 Rochester homes in the dark, according to Eversource.
A wind advisory released on Thursday said gusts of almost 50 mph can be expected until the winds taper off around 7 tonight.
The only other Greater Rochester community experiencing severe outages is Barrington, which has 320 customers in the dark.
In Maine, York County is reported to have almost 3,500 customers without power, including 111 in Acton, 85 in Lebanon, 633 in North Berwick, 255 in South Berwick and 777 in York.
The winds are expected to be strongest along the coast and in the mountains.
