SOMERSWORTH - Somersworth Police today continue their investigation into an armed robbery at the Irving Circle K Gas Station on High Street earlier this week.

According to a release, a suspect entered the premises shortly after midnight on Monday, walked up to the counter and demanded all the money before fleeing on foot.

The man did not show a weapon but gestured as if he had one in his pocket, police say.

The suspect is described a light-skinned male wearing a black puffy jacket with a white hooded sweatshirt underneath and black and red plaid pattern pajama-style pants and black and white Nike Dunks. His face was covered by a yellow bandanna.

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect. If you have info please contact Det. Sgt. DeFrancesco at Somersworth Police at 603.692.2928 or Seacoast Crime Stoppers at 603.431.1199. Rewards of up to $1,000 can be paid if the info leads to the arrest or indictment of a suspect.
