Join us for family game day and pizza party on Saturday, April 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There will be a variety of fun, creative games available, including (but not limited to) Robot Turtles, Balderdash, Castle Logix, Brainspin, and Superfight!

Friends are a non-profit 501c3 fund-raising organization founded to support the programs of the Milton Free Public Library. We raise money to help with projects outside the scope of the regular library budget as well as to meet expenses of unanticipated emergencies. The Spring Plant Sale has become an annual event, and our many loyal customers appreciate the quality of the Three Rivers' products as well as the easy way to help us help our Library to thrive.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten
The single most important thing you can do to prepare your children to read is to read to them every day. Research proves that children need to hear 1000 books before they begin to learn to read independently Reading to children will increase their vocabulary and their listening and narrative skills. Reading with children will also instill in them self-awareness, confidence, and an understanding of their place in the world.
1000 Books??? One book a day for three years = 1000. Three books a day for one year=1000. Ten books a week for two years = 1000.

Homeschool Club and Story Time on Thursday mornings
Join us on Thursday mornings at 10:30 for a Homeschool meet up and play group. Share ideas and meet other homeschooling families.
Toddlers and preschool children can also meet at the Milton Free Public Library on Thursday mornings at 10:30 for a story and free play.
