SOMERSWORTH - Joan M. (Jalbert) Innis, 81, of Somersworth, died on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, surrounded by her family at Riverside Rest Home in Dover, N.H. She was born in Rochester, N.H., July 12, 1935, the daughter of Adelard and Anita (Hamel) Jalbert.
She worked at General Electric in Somersworth for many years and also worked at the family's bakery know as "Hamels's Bakery" and then retiring from Palmer Chenard in Somersworth. She was also sponsored by Mr. Ouelette for the 1955 Miss NH Pageant, which she placed second.
Her family members include her sister's, Elaine Jalbert Becker and Constance Jalbert Zoph, her daughter's Robin Albert from Calif., and Diana Albert from Milton, N.H., her grandson, Shane Nye and great-grandson Gabriel Nye, along with nephews and nieces.
