ROCHESTER - Doris J. Dyer, 66, died Monday, August 1, 2016, at the Riverside Rest Home in Dover after a period of failing health.
Doris was born in Rochester, on April 5, 1950, the daughter of Ralph and Jeannette (Camire) Huntress and was a lifelong resident of Rochester. Doris was kindhearted, the type of person who would give you the shirt of her back if you needed it and was generally a very giving person. She was predeceased by her friend, Gerald Miller and by a son Richard Allen Wheeler.
Surviving members of the family include: two sons, James Arthur Wheeler and his wife Patty of Florida and Troy Miller and his wife Lynn of Somersworth, NH, one daughter, Lisa Gagnon of Rochester, NH, two brothers, Bruce Huntress of Milton, NH and Arthur Potvin of Rochester, NH, two sisters, Beatrice Doyon of Rochester, NH, and Rita Rurner of Gonic, NH, a daughter-in-law, Michelle Wheeler of TN, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins.
