THORNTON - A 21-year-old Thornton woman was killed on Monday, and police say it was her brother who shot her.
Plymouth State College student Leah Anderson succumbed to a bullet wound to the head.
She was taken to a hospital by emergency personnel after a 911 call for a shooting on Mad River Road around 8:20 a.m. Monday, according to a statement from the Attorney Generals Office.
Logan Anderson, 18, was arrested on second-degree murder charges. He is due for an arraignment in the 2nd Circuit District Court in Plymouth today.
Police have not yet released a motive in the killing.
