The summer’s first heat wave doesn’t begin till Wednesday, but it’s going to feel like it starts today, with high humidity making it feel well above 90 degrees.In fact, this stretch of hot weather in the Greater Rochester area won’t begin to taper off till Sunday.Meteorolgists are calling it a heat dome, which is when a persistent, high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere traps hot air over a region, acting like a solid lid.
