With the rate of auto loan delinquency increasing in 49 states between Q3 2025 and Q4 2025, the personal-finance company WalletHub today released its updated report on the States Where Auto Loan Delinquency is Increasing the Most, to show where people's risk of credit score damage and vehicle repossession is surging most.
In order to identify the states where auto loan delinquency is increasing the most, WalletHub compared the 50 states using its proprietary user data on consumer delinquency rates between Q3 2025 and Q4 2025.
