DOVER, N.H. - A Rochester man and two others have been indicted in the theft of thousands of dollars' worth of razor blades from department stores in Rochester and Somersworth.

Darien Young, 24, of 20 Glenwood Ave, Rochester, Jonathan Welch, 24, of 603 Limerick Road, Arundel, Maine, and Molly Sloan, 23, of 256 Barn Door Gap Road, Strafford, N.H. all face prison time in the alleged thefts which occurred in early August at the Rochester Kmart and Somersworth (NH) Walmart.

Court documents allege Young, along with Welch as an accomplice, stole more than $2,000 worth of razor blades from Kmart on Aug. 7. Both men are charged with felony theft punishable by 7 ½ to 15 years in state prison in connection with the Aug. 7 charge.

Welch was also indicted in the theft of $530 worth of razor blades from Kmart on Aug. 11 during a separate incident in which Sloan and Young were also accomplices. Because Welch had been convicted in 2008 in Biddeford (Maine) District Court and 2014 in York County Superior Court for similar crimes, he was charged with a Class B felony as well.

Welch was also indicted in an Aug. 5 felony theft at Walmart in which he is alleged to have conspired with Sloan to steal almost $1,250 worth of razor blades.

Sloan faces 7 ½ to 15 years in state prison in connection with the charges.

In an unrelated incident, Welch was also indicted in an Aug. 1 robbery in which he is alleged to have robbed a man of his wallet in Rochester. Robert Gilman, 25, of 3

Brook Drive, Somersworth, was also indicted as an accomplice in the incident.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been gathered to warrant a trial.
