MILTON - If the old jingle goes, "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream," well, there were plenty of screams of delight in Milton on Tuesday as Stop, Drops and Roll had a free ice cream day in advance of its grand opening on Friday.

"You can get whatever you want, coffee, a power drink or an ice cream cone or sundae," smiled manager Kylie George, who along with a couple of other employees was working the drive-up windows at their downtown location which is also the site of J & S Tech Electric.

The coffee, ice cream and power drink drive-up has no seating inside, but owner Jim Flanagan said earlier this month he believes the public will be happy to have a place where they can drive up, grab their ice cream, coffee or power drink and not even have to get out of the car.

Stop, Drops and Roll has had a soft opening week fine-tuning their operation, George said on Tuesday.

Their hours of operation will be 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. It's located at 599 White Mountain Hwy.
