MILTON - A Farmington man was arrested on Tuesday after police say he almost hit a Milton Police Officer, a Milton firefighter and a motorist on Farmington Road then subsequently crashed into the Milton Police Officer's cruiser.

David Frost, 19, was charged with DWI and reckless conduct.

Police say Frost was driving a 1994 Nissan Sentra on Farmington Road around 6 p.m. when he almost hit the officer, then hit his brakes and skidded into the officer's cruiser which was positioned to shut down Farmington Road near Sleeping Bear Drive due to a tree on wires.

Speed, alcohol and drugs were all factors in the accident, police say.

Frost was released on $5,000 personal recognizance and will be arraigned later this month at the Rochester District Court.
