MILTON - After several recent selectmen's elections in which incumbent selectman were either unopposed or faced a lone challenger, this selectmen's vote next month will feature three townspeople vying for a chance to sit on the town's most powerful board.
The scenario became apparent after longtime selectman Tom Gray decided not to run.
The trio of candidates include Larry Brown, a frequent visitor at selectmen's meeting who serves on several town boards and has run state rep; budget committee member Thomas McDougall and political newcomer Ryan Thibeault, who recently moved to Milton.
The three candidates vying to replace Gray will be on hand for a Candidates Night at Town Hall next Thursday at 6 p.m.
