LEBANON - The Lebanon Voice, after hearing from so many people who say they are unhappy about the ambiguity of the ambulance question on the Nov. 4 ballot and who are unhappy with the imminent loss of Rescue 2, started a Facebook Page "Save our Ambulance" on Nov. 12 where people can share ideas on how next to proceed.

Selectmen have repeatedly told The Lebanon Voice that no one has come to them to complain about the question's ambiguity and the loss of Rescue 2, the town's newest and best ambulance.

Yet, The Lebanon Voice continues to have from readers every day who ask if we can do anything more to stop the madness of getting rid of Rescue 2 when we only owe $60,000, given the fact that $20,000 will be paid for pro rata expense if we give it up in midyear.

The fact is the letter to the lease company offering a voluntary repo may have already been sent, but the fact, also, is that the people's will shall prevail and anything that is done can be undone.

If enough people get onboard we might still be able to Save our Ambulance.

As of today the Save our Ambulance Facebook page had 133 Likes.

A discussion of the ambulance status is on the agenda for Tuesday's selectmen's meeting at 6:30 p.m. at Town Offices on Upper Guinea Road.

Also please go and like the Save our Ambulance Facebook page and tell your friends if this is what you believe in so they can, too.
