Sampson is just 4 years old and came to the shelter because his owners could not afford to care for his allergies. This sweet little dog is playful and affectionate. He is looking for a medium energy home with someone who is willing to keep him on a special diet to help his allergies. Sampson is very protective of his food, so he must go to a home with older children (13+). Because he is reactive towards people with his food, he might also be reactive towards other animals, so he might be best in a home as the only pet. Sampson has already learned some commands and would be well with an owner willing to continue working with him on manners and basic training.
