Saks Trailer Park home invasion said not random

ROCHESTER - Police are saying a home invasion on Monday at Saks Trailer Park in which a homeowner was attacked was not random.

The assault occurred on Manatee Driver around 10:45 a.m.

The victim told police two suspects entered the residence, demanded money and assaulted him.

They left the mobile home after the assault and ran to what is described as either a purple or maroon jeep Cherokee type vehicle with temporary plates and headed south on Milton Road.

The suspects wore black clothing with masks covering their faces, according to police. Both suspects are believed to be white males, but no further description was provided.

The victim was transported by Frisbie Memorial Hospital by EMS personnel for his injuries which were said to be nonlife-threatening.

Police believe the victim was specifically targeted, and an investigation is ongoing.
