ROCHESTER - Royce "Skip" Claflin, 83, passed away Friday November 21, 2014, following a brief illness.

Born July 19, 1931 in Alton, N.H. he was the son of Clyde and Alice (Colby) Claflin.

Mr. Claflin served in the during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a mason for many years.

Skip always enjoyed his job and in his spare time working in the yard.

Members of his family include his children Clyde Claflin of WV; Royce Claflin, Jr of Dover, NH; Glen Claflin and wife Shelly of Barnstead, NH; and Tanya Lewis and husband Gordon of Milton, NH; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and two sisters Faith Baud of Dover, NH; and Mary Tucker of Alton, NH.
