ALFRED, Maine - A Rochester man has been indicted in the theft of a vehicle from a Berwick business.

Kevin R. Arriel, 23, of 138 Rochester Hill Road, is charged with felony burglary and theft in connection with the case

Police say that Arriel, a past employee of a man taking care of the vehicle, went into his School Street, Berwick, office, on June 28, took a key and drove the car, a 2003 Mazda, to his residence in Rochester without permission.

Two days later the owner of the business drove to homes of past employees and spotted the vehicle at Arriel's Rochester home, said Berwick Det. Ron Lund on Thursday.

Rochester Police arrested Arriel on June 30 and charged him with being in possession of a stolen vehicle.

The indictments were handed down by a York County grand jury on Tuesday.

.An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that there is enough evidence to move forward with prosecution.
