Pooch healing after hit by car, but still no owner

ROCHESTER - A dog was struck by a vehicle on Milton Road, but Rochester Police say the pooch appears OK and are taking care of it until the owner is found.

Rochester Police reported today that the Jack Russell terrier has a few bumps and bruises but is otherwise OK.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday on Milton Road in the area of the Rochester Residence Inn.

The dog has no dog tags or microchip so the dog's owner remains unknown. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rochester Police Department at 603-330-7128.
