ROCHESTER - The third gas station robbery in the city in less than 10 days went down early this morning when police say two men walked into the Milton Road Shell, brandished a gun and fled the scene with money from the register.

Police say the robbery took place around 12:30 a.m. at the Shell Station at 198 Milton Road as two masked men entered the store and demanded money from the clerk.

A firearm was shown and the suspects fled on foot south of the store with an undisclosed amount of money. Officers conducted an area search along with using the department's K-9 unit, but the track went cold.

One suspect is described as a white male possibly in his late teens to early 20s, approximately 5'7"-5'09" tall and approximately 150 pounds. He was wearing a white cloth covering his face, a gray hooded sweatshirt under a black jacket with running type pants.

The second suspect is described as a white male also in his late teens or early 20s, between 5'6"-5'08" tall and 130-140 pounds, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a white cloth covering his face and light colored jeans.

Today's robbery comes close on the heels of two Shell gas station robberies last week.

The spree began March 7 when around midnight a crowbar-wielding man walked into the Shell Station at 130 Washington St., demanded cash and fled.

Another Shell, this one on North Main, was hit March 8 when a knife-wielding man walked into the store, demanded money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

None of the robberies have been solved, however, police are looking at whether a suspect in recent Dover, Somersworth and Durham robberies may be involved in the two earlier this month here in Rochester.

Rochester Police are asking anyone who may have information about this crime that could assist with the investigation or any other information, to call Detective Michael Mundy at the Rochester Police Department at 330-7106.
