ROCHESTER - Frank P. Forest, 82, died Monday, December 9, 2013, at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine after a long period of failing health.

Frank was born in Whitefield, on June 17, 1931, the son of Clarence and Anna (Potvin) Forest and lived all of his life in Rochester. He was an Army veteran, a member of the American Legion, the VFW, the DAV and a former member of the Elks. He formerly owned and operated the Forest & Sons Pump Company. He was predeceased by a son, Darren Forest, a sister Doris Vigneault and by a stepbrother, Roland Hutchins.

Surviving members of the family include: his wife, Doris (Dureau) Forest of Rochester, 2 sons, Nelson Forest and David Forest, five grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
