PrintWAKEFIELD - Milton Police will be assisting the Wakefield Police Department as they conduct a sobriety checkpoint next weekend in Wakefield, a Friday press release stated.
The checkpoint will be conducted in cooperation with the Bartlett Police Department, Wolfeboro Police Department, NH State Police Troop E and Milton Police.
Wakefield Police applied for and were granted a Superior Court petition to conduct the checkpoint.
The checkpoint will be in the Wakefield area the weekend of July 30-31.
A press conference will be held on Tuesday at 2 p m. at the Wakefield Police Department to discuss the upcoming sobriety checkpoint.
