Man seriously injured in Lebanon wrecker accident

LEBANON - A man was Medflighted to a Portland hospital with serious injuries on Saturday after he was run over by a vehicle that had broken free of a wrecker when a chain broke, according to Lebanon Fire and EMS.

The call came in around 11:50 a.m. for the Depot Road incident, and first responders saw quickly the injuries were serious so the Medflight was summoned. The patient was met by the Medflight at a landing zone on Just Chevy Truck property just south of Route 202 and taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland.
Due to privacy laws, no word on the patient's condition was available.
