DOVER, N.H. - An elderly Rochester man has been indicted for allegedly possessing Clonazepam, also known as Klonopin, and then attempting to tamper with witnesses and informant during the investigation.

Daniel Brochu, 70, of 21 Silver Bell Mobile Home Park, was arrested on Dec. 3 inconnection with the possession charge and three days later on the witness tampering charge.

Both charges are Class B felonies punishable by three and a half to seven years in state prison.

The Strafford County grand jury indictments were handed down May 14 and released on Tuesday.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been gathered to warrant a trial.
