SANBORNVILLE, N.H. - Quality and often heirloom furniture along with many sports memorabilia items and much more will be on the auction block at Saturday's Calico Fair in Sanbornville.

This will be the first time that the long-running fair, a major fund-raiser for St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church, has included an auction.

A preview of items will be viewable at 9 a.m., with the auction beginning at 10:30. All items must go.

This will also be the first time the fair offers a complete barbecue chicken dinner to fairgoers, as well as strawberry shortcake and root beer floats.

Treasure hunters will also be able to take advantage of the fair's giant yard sale and bling tables. Folks looking for a tasty confection to take home can visit the ever-popular bake table.

Butterfingers Da Klown will also be on hand doing face painting and balloon animals for a donation of any amount for the church.

The thrift shop will also be open selling clothes and knickknacks.

The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the grounds of the church located at 118 High St.
