LEBANON - A Lebanon man is facing prison after his indictment in a theft from Walmart last summer.

Jerrell Luther, 36, with a last known address of 57 Kennebec Drive, is charged with theft by unauthorized taking for allegedly stealing clothing from the Rochester store on July 24.

Luther has two previous convictions for theft of services or property, according to court documents. The new charge, a Class B felony, carries a prison term of anywhere from 3 ½ to seven years plus up to a $4,000 fine.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been gathered to warrant a trial.
