ROCHESTER - Kenneth G. Farnan Jr, 67 of Durham Lane in Rochester, died on December 16, 2014, at Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover following a long period of failing health. Born in Lowell, MA on March 30, 1947 he was the son of the late Kenneth G. Sr and Norma (Dowdle) Farnan. He was raised in and attended school in Billerica, Mass., graduating from Billerica High School with the class of 1964.

He furthered his education graduating with a degree from Fisher Jr. College in 1977. Kenneth proudly served his country as a member of the Army. He married his loving wife Jeannine T. (Bishop) Farnan on March 24, 1972 and together they made a home in Exeter before settling in Rochester for over thirty-seven years. He was a kind, compassionate man, and a loving husband, dad and grandpa. His favorite times were those spent with his beautiful wife, daughters, and grandchildren. He devoted his life to helping others in need. As a team, he and his wife formed the "Rochester Gethsemane" under the Independent Assembly of God International. They served the community for many years. Folks will remember their weekly bike nights where the local youth gathered to work on and build their bikes, and enjoy other safe activities. They assisted many local service agencies helping with food, clothing and daily necessities. He made mission trips to Jamaica and Mexico. He enjoyed ministering in many area churches as well as teaching Bible studies.
He is survived by his loving family; his wife Jeannine of Rochester, daughter Theresa and Chis Bergeron of Rochester, and daughter Christina Breitmaier of Rochester, grandchildren Cody and Carissa Breitmaier and Brianna Bergeron, sisters Betty and her husband Paul Sullivan and Barbie McCullough both of Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews.
