ROCHESTER - Kenneth E. Rand, 92, of 59 Chestnut Hill Road, died Wednesday Dec. 17, 2014, at Riverside Rest Home in Dover, after a period of failing health.

He was born Feb. 24, 1922, in Denmark, Maine, the son of the late Nathan and Mabel (Bean) Rand. He proudly served in the Army during WWII. Mr. Rand has resided in this are most of his life and worked many years as a heavy equipment operator for Tebbetts Company. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion Post #7. Kenneth enjoyed woodworking.

The widow of Myrtle (Heath) Rand, he is survived by son, Donal Hall of Rochester; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Roy Rand of Farmington, Clyde Rand of N. Lebanon, Maine; sister, Geneva LaRock of Edisberg, Vt.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Nathan Rand, Jr.
