Follow the adventures of the sassy little girl with the can-do attitude, when Rochester Opera House Productions presents Junie B. Jones the Musical on Sunday, November 23 at 2:00 PM. With fun-filled songs, the precocious, loveable Junie B. Jones (Heidi Gagne) stars in this endearing new musical by Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich. . Join Junie as she makes her way through first grade, where lots of things have changed for her. She faces the trials and tribulations of dealing with a group of new friends, a new teacher, new eyeglasses and the kick ball tournament. In the end, she learns and "teaches" a life lesson: "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." This musical, based on the popular Junie B. Jones book series by Barbara Park, is directed by Seraphina Caligiure with music direction by Adam MacDougall. Additional cast includes Jerard-James Craven, Christina Kelly and Linette Miles.
