BURBANK, Calif. - Jonathan Norman (Furlong) Molzen of Burbank, Calif., via Rochester, N.H., and the Appalachian Trail passed on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. He was the son of Michelle (Chasse) and Tim Molzen. He was predeceased by his father Kevin Furlong.
He is survived by two brothers Joseph (Jayme) Molzen, Jordan (Jennifer Turner) and sister Emily (Cody) Dollendorf. He was known as Uncle Jon to nieces Jayde, Ruby and Jemma. He is also survived by his love, Suzie Santomauro and her children Zach and Chelsea. He was extremely fond of his Memere and Pepere Raymond and Dorene (deceased) Chasse and his Grandparents Ronald and Sharon Molzen. He will be missed by all his aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.
He served in the Student Conservation Corps (SCA) and Americorp. He was an Army veteran. He enjoyed hiking, chainsaw carving and playing cribbage. Jon was very talented with musical ability and had an amazing way with the written word. He had a big heart, a vivid imagination and a gift for finding the bright side of life. He did it all, his way. Jon blessed all he met with a loving and genuinely kind heart. His unique outlook on life will live on, by inspiring us all to live and love unconditionally and without boundaries.
