ROCHESTER - James V. Chretien, 66, of Crockett Street in Rochester, died at home on August 24, 2014.

Born in Rochester on September 29, 1947, the son of Eugene V. and Madeline Rose (Hull) Chretien, he had resided there for most of his life.

A Veteran of the United States Army, he served in Vietnam.

James had worked at Textron for 13 years and at GM Nameplate in Dover for 11 years.

He enjoyed gatherings at the Music Mill in Milton Mills.

Survived by his sister Anna M. Johnson, also several nieces and nephews and close friends: Kim and George Fulton. Predeceased by 2 sisters: Caroline Boudreau and Jean Gray.
