Huge pot-growing facility found by police

ROCHESTER - A Rochester man was charged with drug manufacturing after police discovered what is considered a large marijuana growing facility inside his Rochester home on Monday.

David A Brock, 52, of 25 Anita St., was charged with felony manufacturing of a controlled drug.

Rochester Police were called to the house around 7:30 p.m. on Monday after New Hampshire Probation and Parole Officers called them upon seeing evidence of marijuana in the home after going to the residence to check up on one of their clients.

The home was immediately secured as officers applied for a search warrant which was granted.

When the search got under way officers discovered a large scale marijuana growing operation inside the residence, including 132 marijuana plants in various stages of maturity along with growing equipment such as grow lights and fertilizer. The plants and equipment were all seized.

Bock is being held on $25,000 cash bail at Strafford County Jail pending his arraignment later today in Rochester District Court.
