ROCHESTER - The Rochester Historical Society Museum on Hanson Street will host a presentation on the History of Comic Books on March 9.

An illustrated talk by Jonathan Waugh of Jetpack Comics will discuss the history of Superheroes, comic book collecting and the comic book industry in general.

Waugh is the General Manager of Jetpack Comics and Games, located in downtown Rochester. A lifelong lover of comics and pop culture, Waugh says he has spent too much of his free time obsessing over the various fictional worlds he loves. He lives in Dover and has made many interesting presentations about comic book history.

The program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will follow the meeting. For more information please call (603) 330-3099 or e-mail rochesterhistorical@metrocast.net.

The presentation begins at 7 p.m.
