Historical Society speaker will discuss early Native American cultures of Rochester

ROCHESTER - The Rochester Historical Society Museum on Hanson Street will present David Miller who will talk about Native Americans along the River on Thursday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m.

This presentation will take a look at questions like: Who were the native people who lived in the Piscataque River watershed before 1600? Were they one band? Where did they live? Were there extended family groups living in Rochester?

A past president of the Rochester Historical Society, Miller has studied many aspects of both Rochester history and Native American history.
