DOVER, N.H. - The alleged getaway driver in the first of a slew of robberies of the Milton Road Shell last summer intends to plead guilty to the charge in Strafford County Superior Court next month.

Tyler Patrick, 20, of 410 E Portland St., Rochester, is expected to plead guilty to an armed robbery charge in connection with a June 25 incident, which was brazenly carried out around 5 p.m. as several customers were inside the convenience store. The robbery, itself, was carried out by two armed men who have already been sentenced, Brandon Hamel, a transient who formerly resided in East Rochester; and Jonathan Wilson, 21, of 288 Blackwater Road, Gonic.

During the robbery Wilson is alleged to have used a long-barreled handgun, while Hamel toted a sawed-off shotgun.

Both are already serving lengthy prison sentences related to the robbery as well as an unrelated case in which they brutally assaulted a Somersworth pizza delivery driver during a robbery attempt.

In a plea deal worked out with prosecutors Patrick will serve four to eight years in state prison.

In all, the Milton Road Shell was hit three times in three weeks between June 25 and July 13.
