MILTON MILLS - Gerald A. Nason Sr, age 75, died February 24, 2015, surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born August 13, 1939, in Wakefield, N.H., the son of Ernest and Nancy (Streader) Nason. He was raised in Wakefield and has resided in Milton Mills since 1964.

Jerry was an Army veteran, and worked for Spaulding Fibre in Rochester, N.H. for 25 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed working in his vegetable garden and watching Fox News, and many sports. Jerry loved old country music, spending time with family and friends and he enjoyed many family cookouts.

He was predeceased by his wife Mary E. Nason, his oldest daughter Tammy L. Phinney, his brother Sonny Nason, his sisters Sandra Fogg, Diane Stewart.

Jerry is survived by his son Gerald A. Nason Jr. and his wife Kimberly Nason, daughter Michelle Pratt and her husband David Pratt Jr, and son-in-law Charles D. Phinney. Several grandchildren, Ashley R. Phinney, Charles D. Phinney Jr and his wife Cayleen Phinney, Jarrid Glenn Nason, and Evan Pratt. Two great grandchildren, Jaxson and Kamron Phinney. His brother David Nason and his wife Nancy Nason, his sister Evelyn Dalessandri and many nieces and nephews.
