Fugitive with Rochester ties turns himself in | Daniel Debutts, Jr.

CONCORD, N.H. – A fugitive from justice wanted in connection with probation violations turned himself in on Wednesday at the New Hampshire State Probation Office in Dover.

Daniel Debutts Jr., 24, who was last known to be residing in the Rochester area, was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for probation violations, stemming from his original conviction and sentence for possession of narcotics.

Debutts was featured as last week’s “Fugitive of the Week” after the State Probation and Parole Office requested the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in an effort to locate and arrest him.  Debutts was wanted on a seemingly minor arrest warrant, but his serious criminal history earned the attention of the U.S. Marshals.

Debutts surrendered today at the Probation office after seeing himself on WMUR-TV.

Debutts was arrested on the outstanding warrant and was brought to the Strafford County Jail, where he will be held pending his initial court appearance.
