DOVER, N.H. - A Dover man who apparently passed out from a drug overdose was arrested on drug possession and DWI charges after he crashed his car on Knox Marsh Road early today.

Cameron A. Kennedy, 23, sustained minor injuries in the accident which occurred near the intersection of Littleworth Road.

Kennedy was extricated from the wreckage by Dover Fire, and Narcan, an antidote for opioid intoxication, was administered which revived him.

Kennedy was then transported to Wentworth Douglas Hospital with what were described as nonlife-threatening injuries.

The vehicle sustained heavy damage due to the accident and extrication.

He was later arrested and charged by Dover Police with driving while intoxicated, second offense; and felony drug possession.

Kennedy was released on personal recognizance with an arraignment next month.
