ROCHESTER - Cecile R. "Cis" Thomas, 76, of Rochester died peacefully Sunday, November 23, 2014, at her home.
Born May 19, 1938, in Berlin, she was the daughter of the late Elliot and Loretta (Ramsey) Beaulieu.
Cecile was raised in Gonic, and graduated from Holy Rosary High school 1956 then graduated from the Notre Dame School of Nursing in 1959. Cis worked many years as a nurse at Frisbie Hospital in Rochester, and later with Strafford County in the correctional program.
Members of her family include her sister Irene Walker and Husband Richard of Barrington, nephew and godson Rick Walker and wife Wanda of Barrington. Niece Laura Scherer, whom was born on her wedding day and husband Mike of Rochester and niece Ellen Walker of Barrington. Brother In-law Sonny Thomas of Barrington, Brother In-law Norm Thomas of Barrington his children Tammy Beaulieu and Jason Thomas, sister in-law Sally Cook of Barrington and her children Vincent Cook, Vaughn Cook and Vanessa McRae. Sister In-law Marion Wood and husband Stan of Auburn their children Kenny Wood and Janet Meyers and sister In-law Beverly Trask and her children Jeff Trask, Patty McCarthy and Sandy Bentley, and many great nieces and nephews. Cis was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years Melvin "Cookie" Thomas in 2009.
