DOVER - A Milton man police busted on drug charges in November has been indicted.

Sean Tichy, 38, of 4 Briar Ridge Road, faces three Class B felony counts of sale of a controlled drug after court records reveal he allegedly sold marijuana on three separate occasions to an undercover officer working for the Strafford County Sheriff's Drug Task Force.

The three alleged buys all occurred in 2015 on Jan 21, Feb. 11 and July 30.

Tichy was arrested Nov. 19 when it was alleged he had more than a pound of marijuana inside his home. The charges were the result of several months of investigation by both the Strafford County Drug Task Force and Milton Police,

Pursuant to securing a search warrant, police said they found 1.3 pounds of pot at Tichy's home along with 122 grams of hashish , and $9,402 in cash thought to be drug money, according to a press release issued shortly after the arrest.

Tichy was released on personal recognizance.

Each of the three counts Tichy was indicted on carries a maximum prison sentence of seven years and a $25,000 fine.

The Strafford County grand jury indictments were handed down July 14 and released on Wednesday.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been gathered to warrant a trial.
