All 16 warrant articles pass, move on to March voting

MILTON - All 16 warrant articles passed during the town's Deliberative Session portion of Town Meeting on Saturday at Nute High.

Among them was a $4.33 million town operating budget, which was about $50,000 less than last year's, funding for several reserve accounts and $14,000 to fund a step pay plan that would raise salaries for highway, transfer and government buildings workers.

Additional funding is being requested to eradicate the invasive waterplant European Naiad, improve the boat ramp at town beach and to establish a fund "for the development, renovation, maintenance and repair of any and all town ballfields."
