A snowball fight at the library? 'Book' your spot now!

MILTON MILLS - Winter has set in and now it's time for a little fun! Come to the Milton Free Public Library Saturday, January 28, 2017 10:30-12:30 for a children's winter party. We will have fun games (an indoor "Snowball Fight!") , winter crafts (marshmallow "igloos!") , hot chocolate and pizza!

Fun Fan Fiction Changes
This year's Fun Fan Fiction Contest for Milton's Middle AND High School Students will be held a little later in the school year. Entries are due March 30 , 2017 and winners will be announced April 20, 2017 at the Nute Middle/High School student recognition ceremonies.
Contestants take an existing work of literature and add a character, enhance a plot point, change a scene to create or enhance the story. Students are asked to write at least 3 pages and include a summary of the original story and a sample of the writing style of the original author, as works should be submitted in the "voice " of the original piece.
